Brooke Tucker's Golden Christmas: Building a Miniature Masterpiece
Published in Hardcover by Kalmbach Publishing Company (August, 1996)
Authors: Brooke Tucker and Anne Day Smith
Average review score:

Excellent!
This is a must have for any DIY miniaturists library. Even if you don't plan to reproduce the exact room settings, you can learn techniques and principles which can be used in any project. Her attention to detail is simply phenomenal. She even cautions you about the thickness of your pencil lead when drawing your plans, lest your components not fit together perfectly. And, should you never get around to actually "building" anything, it is still a great companion on a rainy day and a beautiful book for your collection.

Circles of Blessing: Redemption in the Rainforest
Published in Paperback by Gabriel Resources (16 March, 2001)
Authors: David A. Tucker and Arlene Knickerbocker
Average review score:

A Great Missionary Read
This book captures a man's spiritual journey from a young confused boy serving door-to-door as a Jehovah's witness in New Jersey to the jungles of Irian Jaya, where he served as a messenger of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to tribal animist.

Along with this exciting journey, each chapter asks powerful questions to the reader. This book is both an easy read and a powerful tool. It has helped me see how God can use anyone, and I am certain that any reader would also be challenged in the same way.

Coaching Girls' Lacrosse
Published in Paperback by International Marine/Ragged Mountain Press (12 February, 2003)
Authors: Janine Tucker and Maryalice Yakutchik
Average review score:

Bringing Girls' Lacrosse into the Modern Era
This book is perfect for coaches and players who are new to the game of girls'/women's Lacrosse. Several years ago, when I was recruited to coach my daughter's youth league team, I searched high and low for a book, such as this one, covering the girls' game. I found plenty of books for boy's Lacrosse and a few that had a chapter or two covering girls' Lacrosse. Often, these books covered very outdated techniques and methods. Bottom line, there was no comprehensive guide for teaching and developing young girls into well-rounded Lacrosse players. Coach Tucker's book is a great guide for dad's like me who have men's Lacrosse experience, beginning coaches, new players, and, of course, baffled parents. My favorite section covers the suggested drills. Each drill is clearly defined and well diagramed. She also provides great advice for managing practice and keeping the girls involved and excited about playing lacrosse. I plan to implement many of her suggestions into my practices. A must read for coaches and parents who are interested in developing technically sound players who love the game of girls' Lacrosse.

Collectible Florida Shells
Published in Paperback by Amer Malacologists (June, 1984)
Author: R. Tucker Abott
Average review score:

Collectible Florida Shells
This is a nifty little handbook that handled nearly all the identification needed for amateur shell collecting on Cayo Costa, a barrier island on Florida's west coast. The photographs are accurate and information is easy to find.

Colors
Published in Hardcover by Little Simon (01 June, 1998)
Author: Sian Tucker
Average review score:

Excellent for teaching color recognition.
This is the best book I've seen for teaching children their colors. The bold graphics are simple and appealing. There is soothing repetition in the format, with just enough variation to keep little ones interested. This book is most appropriate for use with a single child, since the details of the pictures might not be readily visable to a group, and there is no text except for the color names. The adult who has time and energy for cuddling close and pointing things out ("Look, here the clown has a shirt with blue stripes." "Oops, the ladder has a broken rung.") will find using this book to be very rewarding.

Comic Visions: Television Comedy and American Culture
Published in Paperback by Blackwell Publishers (October, 1997)
Authors: David Marc and Ken Tucker
Average review score:

A Unique Vision
Marc has a unique vision of American situation comedy. He sees it through the lens of classical criticism, seeking themes, genres, and other Greek-sounding nouns. He places American sitcoms in historical contexts. He does all of this so brilliantly and in such a readable yet erudite manner that a reader familiar with both "Bewitched" and "Beowulf" will find the book a treasure. I have never found a better book about American comedy in the post World War II era. So much of that comedy was televised that David Marc owns the patent on its intelligent criticism with this book.
